3. You Earn the Credit

When the referral signs up and starts service, your credit is applied directly to your next NTS monthly invoice. Real money off your bill.

Qualification Criteria

What Counts as a Qualified Referral

  • 5 or more employees. The business you’re referring needs to have at least 5 employees on staff.

  • 12-month service agreement. The referral must sign a minimum 12-month service agreement with NTS for the credit to be issued.

  • Not an existing client or active prospect. The referred business must be new to NTS — not someone we’re already in conversation with or currently serving.

  • Credit applied after service starts. Your credit goes onto your NTS invoice the month after the referral’s service officially begins.

Referral Program — FAQs

Anyone who knows what NTS does. The Northern Tech Connectors program is primarily designed for current NTS clients (the credit applies against your monthly invoice), but if you’re not a client and you want to refer a business, get in touch — we can usually work out a cash equivalent or vendor credit instead.

The credit is applied to your NTS invoice the month after the referred business officially starts service and pays their first invoice. You’ll see it on your next monthly statement with a line item that identifies the referral.

The 5-employee minimum is the standard tier qualification, but get in touch anyway. We work with smaller operations on a case-by-case basis — sometimes there’s still a reward we can offer, just structured differently.

Reach out before you make the introduction. Larger referrals are great opportunities for us, and we’ll work out a custom reward that makes sense given the size and scope. Email referrals@ntsmanaged.com and we’ll respond same-day.

Absolutely. No cap on referrals. We’ve had clients refer 3, 4, even 5+ businesses to us over time — each one earns its own credit, and the credits stack against your invoice.

That happens often — businesses sometimes take a few months to make the switch. As long as the referral signs within 12 months of the introduction, the credit is yours. We track the conversation timeline.

Either works. You can give us their contact info and we’ll reach out (always mentioning who referred them, with your permission), or you can make a direct introduction over email and we’ll take it from there. Whatever’s most comfortable for you.
